Less than a month to go until the 13th edition of Interihotel, the interior design, business and learning event for hotels and restaurants. At Connections by Finsa we will dedicate a special programme throughout the month until the fair is held between 18th and 20th October. We share with you the three keys that define this year’s event:
The journey of change
The journey of change will be the theme of this edition, where five challenging topics in hospitality will be addressed at exhibitor stands and in talks:
- Wonderful business: customer experience as the key to successful interior design.
- Inside out: how to blur the inside/outside boundaries to promote emotional and physical wellbeing.
- Regenerative hospitality: positive impact through the empowerment of local ecosystems, communities and the enhancement of cultural heritage.
- New materiality: innovation in sustainable materials and solutions for habitat.
- Brightech: integration of artificial intelligence in hospitality design. By the way, don’t miss our report on cryptohospitality.

Much more than just rooms
This year Interihotel is strengthening its commitment to innovation through the Interiors Living Lab. This is a space that connects trends, technology and people, created by AMBIT Living Spaces Cluster. This laboratory of ideas will take the form of concept rooms which will have versions in the metaverse.
Regenerative hospitality
One of the challenges of this edition is regenerative hospitality, which is going from being a theoretical trend to a practical one. Different studies and participating companies will present case studies in which hotels have adapted to the ecosystem instead of trying to occupy it, providing value through a positive social, economic and cultural impact.
